Hi everyone.

Can I ask how people go about getting permission to detect on private land?
Unfortunately I don't speak German which makes it extremely difficult when trying to find the owner of a piece of land I wish to detect.
It's actually really depressing, I love the hobby so much but year I've only managed to detect a single field.
I drive around for hours just hoping to find a farmer working in a field so I can stop and ask them for permission.
Around where I live there are hundreds of fields which makes it even more frustrating when I don't come across a single farmer.
Is there a way to find out who owns the field without having to rely on catching a farmer there when I'm out and about?

Please help a depressed fellow detectorist.
